October 23rd... damn can't wait! I bought a g710 just for this set. It's my first mechanical keyboard and it's great. I went from a Sidewinder x4, to this, and I love it, but the stock g710 keys are a little too tall for my liking, and i just recently got into the Outrun, dark retrowave... scene? This set alone made me decide to buy a new keyboard.
MakoSucksAs a 710+ owner, make sure you have all the keys for the irregular bottom row. Currently on a k95, but this set will go on my MF 68 until I buy and make my eventual redscarf 78 (and corresponding numpad to the right of my mouse)
MakoSucksI'm building a custom board for this, so hyped. And please, double check what Jscap said. The reason these commercial mechanical keyboards aren't that popular in the MK community is because they have such weird layouts for no particular reason.
TTheunsI actually found a layout for my g710+ and got all the keys layed out. had to buy the novelty set and a spacebar kit just to replace most of the bottom row, but it's so worth it.
MakoSucksGood thinking. You're already a few steps ahead the usual Logitech/Corsair owners out there. I've seen people complain that their keysets woudn't fit after months of waiting.
And I agree, it is worth it.
MakoSucksOh believe me, I had to buy the base, 60%, tkl, numpad, whitefox/65/75, macro, and bonus. I totally understand. This is all for a keyboard that I don't have yet.
TTheunsMTG, Comics, Vinyl, Yoyos, Video games, Board games, TTRPGs, and Living... I know, addictions are bad... Though I don't have enough money for hard drugs so I guess that's a plus.
