ChamventureThis isn't uncommon. Women generally sleep cooler than men due to their different physiology. The same or greater fill weight can mean higher comfort ratings as a result.

GsandI'm sure it would still be workable, only a slight decrease in comfort rating. The dimensions will also be different, so make sure you order to your height. I'm 5'7" and I tested the Women's bag this past weekend on an overnight kayaking trip and it was plenty long enough and extremely warm (it was high temps in the Bay Area at night). I ended up needing to vent the foot box which was super easy due to the 2 way zipper.
