To those who have the regular sized pillow X: does this work for you if you’re a hammock side sleeper?
Help me.. I can't cancel the order..
I thought the x large will fit my sleeping bag.. but the pillow pocket is smaller. I need the regular SIZE
When can we expect the regular ones to be available again?

Any chance more regular sizes will be added?
Striderhiker
Striderhiker Yes! There will be regular and large pillows added. :D
Will you be adding more regular pillows?

Yes! Very, very soon!
Just returned from a three week TDY (Temporary Duty) trip overseas, and used my pillow as both a travel pillow and as my primary pillow on my rack for the whole time. Most surprising: I never needed to top off the air in the pillow over two and a half weeks of sleeping on it. Wit my Klymit pad, I am always topping it off every night before sleep, but this worked great. I had the small onem, and swiped the cover from an airline pillow to use in order to cut down on the face-to-plastic feel. I will have to sew my own cover, but it worked very well.
Is there a way to tie this pillow off to my hammock ridgeline so that it doesn't "get away"? Some pillows have a loop at the back so that thin shock cord or the like can be attached to the pillow to keep it in the general head region of the hammock. Does the Pillow X have this sort of attachment option as well? Can't make any out in the pics.
Else, was thinking of attaching the shock chord to the valve. Has anybody tried this and if so, does it get in the way? My current little camp pillow has ended up too many times on the ground. Thank goodness its stuffed and not inflated.

Initially I just tied off around the valve while I was trying to decide if this would replace my DIY hammock pillow or go to my ground gear. Now, used flexible adhesive (Goop but could be that E6000? or any silicon adhesive or similar) and a thin grosgrain loop on the valve side. OK so far. The base material is heat fusible and so is polyester ribbon and grosgrain so.....
used this for over a year in my hammock,on maybe 8 trips 4 plus night each trip ,still no leaks, i find it perfect for use in hammock

Did you tie it off some way or was it free to float in your hammock?
This was just delivered two days ago. I inflated it (regular size), and was surprised at how much air it took to fill it. I put my head on it, then opened the valve and let just a little air out, until it cradled my head nicely in the center of the X. It seems plenty comfy, though I haven't slept on it yet. I will put a bandana or something on it when using it for real.

The creases in the fabric help guide the refolding process, though getting enough air out of it to fold it flat was a bit more challenging than I expected. You do need to fold it just right to get it back in its teeny stuff sack—this is a feature, not a bug (as our computer software friends say).

Squeeze out a much air as possible, try rolling it up towards the open valve, put the open valve between your lips and inhale. That will suck out all of the air and make it easier to fold and put back in the stuff sack. I do this with my air mattress also but it takes more inhales. After a few dozen nights, mine still has the factory creases and it's easy to follow them to fold it. At some point, it will probably develop a leak because of folding in the same place over and over but that's what Klymit's life time warranty is for.
If you get this pillow I'd make sure to use a cotton cover of some sort. Sweaty face otherwise at least in my experience.

i just received mine, it is VERY slippery. the material is so thin it has permanent spot mark where it was factory folded. it isnt bouncy at all too, i cant say am happy with this product. it isnt defective and i wont be trying to return it or anything, but i am sad to see such poor quality. i bought many air inflated product in the past and they all came with patch kits, this pillow doesnt.

I will use a fleece neck gaiter or balaclava sometimes, unless it's cold enough that I would want to wear that item instead.
hows the material on the Massdrop version, 20D instead of 30/75D? i just bought one and realised afterwards (reading online) that the fabric is thinner. somebody could tell us on the long term durability please? i bought a NatureHike pillow for 15$ used it 3time and now its leaking air from all over the material. i dont want another cheap product.
Love this pillow. Used it every night this past week on a backpacking trip.
Why are people buying these at this price? Theyre regularly only $9.99 on eBay and some other places...and you get them in a few days...

You asked why people buy them for $15. You don’t think the eBay price of $14 and not shipping outside the US are relevant answers?
