...the insulated is already sold out? Really, guys, the idea behind this community is great, but the execution and planning leave a bit to be desired.

I'm not sure if you're referring to Massdrop or Klymit, but best suggestion would be to work directly with the manufacturer since they are the ones doing the making and warranty-ing. If you have trouble with email then just give them a phone call. You can find Klymit's toll free phone number on their website on both the Warranty and Contact Us tabs. (also can't buy these newer UL pad models on amazon, just Massdrop thus far)

StepbystepNo, I am referring to Mass Drop themselves, it wasn't the Klymit, but another product. I am trying to contact Mass Drop since they are the ones that took my money.

lizstangGotcha...and I see you posted basically this exact same message on like a half dozen products here. Next time you cut and paste the message, maybe specify Massdrop so people don't think you're knocking the product manufacturers? Klymit is a standup company as are some of the others where you posted this. It would be a shame if someone mistook your words and walked away with a bad image of a good product or company. Good luck with whatever happened!

StepbystepI have four pads and a backpack from Klymit. They are awesome, and their customer service is excellent. My last pad was exactly this one here. It's a little narrow, but the weight makes it worth it. I'm an ounce counter. So far, all my pads weigh 6 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz. The backpack is 35 liters, and weighs 1.8 lbs, and my daughter uses it when we backpack together.

Does the manufacturer of whatever item you're talking about not have a warranty on the product or contact information where you can get in touch with them? Personally I would never look to Massdrop first (not even amazon for me, really, unless that was the best option, such as with many sellers on that site)...go straight to the manufacturer. Massdrop is a neat outfit, unique in its niche, but they are not your typical retailer, for better or worse. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Massdrop keeps any stock on hand of products they drop, so it's entirely possible that if you get a dud item that they really can't do much for you in terms of replacement...not quickly or easily as the manufacturer could, probably. I guess I don't understand the over-the-top Massdrop bashing even though you had a problem and it doesn't sound like you approached the manufacturer...so...? Generally most will take care of your needs very well. Plastering the same comment on so many different items when it only concerns one is just kind of rude, though, and very unfair to the companies of those other products.

StepbystepYou are right stepbystep, but I did say my dispute was with Massdrop, and their customer service. You are very right, massdrop doesn't keep stock, I was told they would replace it when the next drop comes through, then they closed my "ticket" because I never got back to them, which I did. I didn't contact the manufacturer, as I had purchased the item through massdrop. Massdrop is who I felt I should be dealing with. Maybe I will contact the manufacturer and see what they suggest I do. Thank you.
