heh, I refunded my koss 950 about 4 years ago now, only listened for 3 days. the bass in them is basically non-existent and they have a squeally like a pig sound signature, terrible headphones. feel bad for you lot since you can't return massdrop items and they are a hard resell on head-fi lol. once you hear STAX you don't go back ~

EdwgMy review : Verified Purchase I wish I could say better things about these cans, however, in my opinion, they sound veiled; like I was not getting the full musical presence.
I let them break in for over 36hrs, tested with several DACs (FiiO, Aune, SMSL), played about every genre (jazz, classical, classic rock, alternative rock, trance, dubstep etc) with Spotify Premium and Flac played through Fubar, with AC and battery power and still I always preferred putting on my HD650s (even the DT770s had more presents throughout audio spectrum). I really wanted to like these, but I ended up returning them.
I must say, that I didn't experience any of the quality issues mentioned in other reviews.

EdwgYeah. They are definitely not STAX level of sound. That being said, the people that buy them from Massdrop can't return them, and as I said before, they don't re-sell well on Head-Fi like other headphones. Koss made a mistake by not updating the amp or making a few more modifications to the headphones themselves, will hurt the brand name as it continues to fail over time.
