Not surprised that all of the pictures only show the side of the person's head and never from the front. These things are fugly and stick out on your ears. They look much stranger than if you wore full size headphones in public. I keep these at home for the right application for the sound quality and abundance of this headphone, but, yeah, it's hideous.

wyldestdreamzThe retro look is painful. They may sound great for the price, but they look ridiculous and require mods to reach their full potential.

wyldestdreamzYeah, just what I thought after going through all of the pictures. :))
But it shouldn't be an issue for audiophiles - if we were in it for the looks we'd go flat-cylinder Sony or Philips cans or something like that.

abm0I use my Philips Fidelio X2's for everything inside, and use earbuds for everything else. Need to get rid of my SHP9500's now that they're going for $150+, and pick up those Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilees...which are pretty much HD660 clones.

KethEarbuds would always drop out for me, plus I never heard great sound from any of them. In-ears are secure, but at the expense of less-than-comfortable in-ear pressure and having to deal with the whole gross earwax situation all the time. That's why these earclips are so brilliant. And when they sound like the KSC75 sounds, it's a no-brainer.
(As for 58X being close to 660s... I wouldn't trust the opinion of just one reviewer, I'd need to hear several saying the same thing, especially when it comes to extraordinary claims like this. At least, I wouldn't easily believe a claim like this if I were looking for potentially-endgame cans.)

abm0There are many saying it, they ditch the sennheiser veil, and if you remove the foam from the back side they reportedly have better imaging than the 600's. Either way, a good value at the asking price.

abm0HD58X and HD660S sound nothing like each other. With the exception of the original HD580 and HD580 Jubilee I own all the cans in the HD6xx series. The only 2 that sound alike are the HD650 and HD6XX (because they are the same), while the rest all have their unique and distinct sound.
