These look like they should come with a cassette player.
And I mean that as a compliment.

livingspeedbumpI imagined using them with my JVC cassette player that I spent all my hard earned summer money on.
Had a Dolby switch, equalizer and played tapes without needing to be flipped if my memory serves me right. $250+/- and it was rubber coated. Loved that thing.

BrainFlushSimilar story here, only mine was a bright yellow Sony Sports Walkman that was waterproofed like a submarine; but I did actually use very similar Koss headphones with it at the time. Tough as nails.

livingspeedbumpShould pair nicely with my WM-D6C -- if they are real. Not sure who to trust any more.

TTheunsI'm sure. There's something new pre-launching tomorrow and it's not a cassette player.

livingspeedbumpI have maybe 15, but I'm wiling to go through thrift stores, flea markets, etc. to find more if this is an actual product that could happen.
I mean, buying the old players is an option, but nowadays we can produce things with much higher quality.

livingspeedbumpThe outward design of the Porta Pro hasn't changed since it went into production in the 80s. Plenty of these headphones lived and died plugged into cassette players.
