Holy crap, if these sound like the P1 at that price point these are instant buys. P1 are fantastic even at 200 so these should be a steal. Bassheads need not apply. If you want a neutralish iem with nice mids, sparkly highs and a wonderful soundstage, these are for you.

jjnistThis is the P1 without the silver audiophile cable.
They are my daily wear. I have stuff from Shure, UÉ, RHA, Sony hybrids, Etymōtic, Senn 650s with a tube amp, dozens of interesting IEMs.
These are my default. They just have everything that makes IEM listening rewarding. I will be getting these for this price. Hint: Shure makes a lightning cable that will convert these babies for iPhone 7 use.
UPDATE: the Shure cable connector is slightly different from the connector MEE uses. My Shure cable will not work with my MEE IEMs.
I apologize for creating confusion.

PACougI honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two cables, even hooked up to a decent dac and amp. Either way they sound absolutely fantastic.

jjnistI wouldn't call these neutral. The sound is definitely colored. It's a slight v-shaped signature but the treble is pushed way up. Soundstage is good but not great; nothing to write home about. Looks are subjective but I think the original P1 look a little better. I will agree with you that these are instant buys at $114 though.

SchwibblesDo you have a rec for a iem with a more neutral tone and wider soundstage in the <$200 price bracket?

jjnistFor $62, the Havi B3 Pro 1 has a very neutral signature and the largest soundstage I've heard outside of the Campfire Audio Andromeda (it may even be wider). The Havi do begin to slope down a little in the upper-midrange and treble regions but it's less noticeable than the graph shows. I have included links to frequency response for both below for comparison's sake. Another pretty neutral IEM would be the Fanmusic E6 ($40). It has a small emphasis on the treble but is mostly flat all the way down. The midbass is a little bit more accented than the Havi giving the lower end a bit of warmth. They don't have the widest soundstage though. The Havi are better than the E6 in my opinion. I own all and they're all great IEMs. The P1 is much nicer in build quality and fit and has removable cables but has a more colored signature. I will retract my earlier comment about the P1's soundstage and say that it is a little better than average for IEMs.

SchwibblesThank you! I haven't had the chance to try out a ton of iems in this range (mostly big names like Shure, etc) so I really appreciate it

PACougCouldn't agree more, and as it happens I've got an order in for the Shure Lightning cable, I'm in the U.K., so they're not available just yet, so I'm using the Lightning adaptor; I'm also using the Onkyo HT music player app, and with the Lightning connector/cable you can then play FLAC files on an iPhone...
