Was happy to have these waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home today, and have spent a couple hours going through my test playlist and doing some comparisions. Really liking them so far, feeling like a bargain at the MD price. My "good" iem comparisons are my 1more triple drivers and Klipsch X11s, both purchased at similarly bargain prices.
My experience with these reminds me a lot of my experience when I got my DT880s. They have a very crisp, clear, and balanced sound that makes the tuning of my other sets really apparent. The build quality of the PX is definitely the best of the bunch, very solid and surprisingly comfortable for how big and heavy they initially felt in my hands. That said, they aren't making me look at my other headphones as junk. In fact, they are making me appreciate them the same way the DT880s did my Senns and AKGs for their distinguishing qualities.
More confirmation of the theory that once you get to a certain quality level of headphones, it's less about "this one is better" than "this one is different" and deciding which one fits your use and mood. And maybe, just maybe, this (and my upcoming December 18th headphone barrage...and the PL50s I bought for bedtime listening, and...sigh) will make me realize that I just don't need any more headphones.
But probably not.

GunsOfBrixtonGot mine today. The left ear bud does not connect tot he cable. Have tried multiple cable with the same problem. Should i contact MEE directly or through MD?
