I've been burning mine in for about 50 hours now, and the sound became very thin when compared to how they sounded out of the box. I'm hoping this will change with another 50+ hours. Has anyone noticed the same change?

LordBorgI didn't notice a change in bass with burn in. I noticed the soundstage open up a bit and I noticed a little more treble extention. But I'm using a Fiio X3 2nd gen and it has more power than pretty much any smart phone. Try a cheap amp or dap like a Fiio A1 or something if you haven't yet and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

FrostyPYes, I've tried from my iMac with Grace m9xx and also with DarkVoice 336SE. In addition, I tried them with the dbMagix connected to my iPhone (this is a great little DAC/AMP by the way). The PXs sound thinner now on all 3 amps than when I first got them. I'm really hoping they'll get better. My Focal Elears did the same thing and it took them 150 hours of burn-in to get to where they sounded really good. I'll post an update.

readyIt's enough yes, but a separate amp definitely helps, tried with desktop amps on various gain settings including Fiio E09k (I think the new version is called K5) and it definitely improves, but the Fiio x3ii is enough for me to go Mow with (8 acre yard, so mowing takes a few hours) and it's not too much bulge in my pocket like having an E17k or whatever portable amp strapped to it. I find that with the isolation the foam tips provide I don't need to have it at ridiclulous volumes to hear the music over the lawnmower (35 hp engine, quite loud, nearly silent with these in)
