I just got these earphones today. Immediately I noticed that the sound is more detailed than my old earphones,headphones and even my speakers. Both music and phone calls sound clearer and just better overall.
This is my first audiophile grade anything. They feel a little heavy but they are definitely sturdy. Iv'e tried almost all the ear tips and I like the comply tips best even though they are pretty hard to put on and take off. The wire connects to the earphones very easily with an deffinative click. The wire feels pretty sturdy and It doesn't tangle easily because of the plastic coating. The microphone is surprisingly good it didn't pick up any noise as it bounced around while I was walking which really surprised me. so far no paint chips and nothing is broken. Ill update this more as I discover more about them through their use.

Jeff-Dupdate 1: The earphones continue to impress. listening to Adele through them it sounded like I was hearing her songs for the first time. truly stunning vocals it sounded much closer to being in person than my non HiFi equipment the detail in her voice is just mmm.
On the other hand when I listen to some pop songs it was like I was hearing them for the first time again but this time, not in a good way. They sound so artificial I feel like I can hear the auto tune and sometimes the more powerful vocals have static at the top of the volume like the sound when you yell into a cheap microphone. I think I've never been able to hear the poor quality of some recordings until now.

Jeff-DWelcome to high-end audio, you will begin to hear poor recordings and vocals etc. A lot of audio dudes I know will typically own a more "consumer-friendly" set of iems or headphones for music that just does not mix well with such gear.

MikeyboiThanks! I'm happy to be a listener. I am just glad I didn't toss my old lower quality earphones. For example Chandelier by Sia sounds like staticky garbage with these, it was really surprising.

Jeff-DUpdate 2: I've been using the comply tips with them and I feel like I am getting a pretty neutral sound experience. I'd say the treble is a little stronger than the mids or bass. Over all the sound quality is very clear. These are not headphones so I cant expect them to sound as full but they are pretty damn close.

Jeff-DI tried these on my friends amp/dac combo unit. They definitely liked it I only listened for a few mins so I cant put my finger on what exactly changed but it was a positive change.

Jeff-Dwell here is another update even though it seems that no one is reading these XD. I am becoming a believer of burnin. I think the sound has slightly changed it sounds like there is a smoother transition between different pitches. when I first got them I felt like I had to play them too loud to really hear the sound quality but now even on the lowest volume I can enjoy them. I think this is more largely attributed to my ears getting used to their sound but I also do believe there has been a slight change in the actual quality of it for the better.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?

I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?

Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
