I've had them a week. The outer coating has already started to chip, unfortunately. They've been in pockets a bit but not much more. They don't seem to put out very much volume, either. The double flange tips have helped a little.

OvreelDon't worry, when it peels all off the raw metal doesn't look too bad, scroll further down the comments. These earphones need more power to drive so the lower volume is a symptom of this - consider getting a small amp or more powerful phone/media player.

OvreelThese definitely need an amp. They have an impedance of 50 ohms and need some power to get loud. My phone doesn't drive them well either but they're substantially better out of my portable amp.
