I want to know about the basshead potential here. I love warm, lush sound signatures. I still think the JVC wood iem series are fantastic and no other IEM I've owned could reproduce the timbre of the FX850s. Their only real downfall is lack of real comfort for long listening.
Wonder how these will compare...normally I view DD size as an indicator of how well they can do bass but the Flare Audio R2a are tiny and still blow my mind at how great they sound (warm, engaging, enough bass to satisfy me).
And I wish they used MMCX but I realize I'm probably in the minority on that :)
Looking forward to reviews and specs

mayorblurpsI would prefer MMCX also. Just picked up a balanced MMCX for my PX IEM. Would be nice to use it with these as well.

mindhead1I'm willing to bet it will use the same cable as the MD+ except in black. The connector housing looks almost identical. With that being said, CeeTee has stated MD will be offering up cables separately for their products. Or, if you have the MD+ it is optioned with a balanced 2.5mm cable (Noble cables fit as well).
