Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

I have a LOT of headphones, and I do like a bass heavy sound here and there, and V-Moda does bass very very well, without sacrificing mids and treble.
If you're looking for wired ones, look no further than the V-Moda M100
If you're looking for Wireless too, then I would suggest getting the Crossfade Wireless 2.
Wireless will cost more, but they're pretty damn good for their price.
cheers.
Do you need wireless? What type of music do you listen to? How loud do you want your music to get? Are you going to get an amp/DAC? Are you planning on going mobile with your set up?
There are a lot of questions that make it hard for someone to recommend headphones.
If you give me a few answers, and a budget I can give the best recommendation that I can, but then then, people's ears are different, and by that I mean people like different (sometimes very different) sounds and tunings.
I have a large collection of headphones because I love to experience different types of sounds, for different activities and listening experiences. I have one for movies, running, music, music on the go, gaming, and each one of those has different headphones that sound just different enough to have me keep them.
If you're trying to get only one pair, it's hard for me to say which to get because I need to know what you like and what you'll be using it for. Honestly for most things I prefer IEM's after using and even selling a lot of headphones.
I'll try and help but I definitely need more info him you. It'll be hard to tell you something against these headphones since I haven't heard them, but I can try.
Also, remember you won't be receiving these until sometime in 2019
