I have timed my top a few times, around 3 minutes is the longest it will spin until the sides hit and stops. This is on the supplied spin station. I do not mind the patina, most all metal will age and pick up color. But the main problem is the wobble. I like the top and the glass, any way I can have one that has been quality tested?

Coach.TSorry to hear that. Depending on how much practice you have with spinning tops, I'd suggest giving it a bit more practice before you decide that's the longest it will go.
