Is the 2U bar in the Ortho kit a convex profile?

bendrexlIt's a normal XDA 2u keycap so I believe it's a bit convex just like any other XDA keycap (not speaking about spacebars though).

MiToOk. But the Minibar's 2U is a spacebar profile, correct?

bendrexlIf that helps, you can see some pictures of it here:

5th keycap of the 4th picture is a 2u keycap.

MiToRight - 4th photo shows all standard "dished" profile caps, but photos 2 & 6 show what appears to be a 2U that's "domed" just like the spacebar. I'd like to get two of those for my ergodox, as a homing aid for thumbclusters. Just not sure which kit(s) have them - it would make sense for both the ortho & minibar kits to use the "spacebar" profile, I'd think.

Not sure if that's true or just an impression, I noticed as well. Hard to tell without the keycaps on hand.
I'll ask MD, please stand by.
bendrexl It's actually a 1.75u keycap in the photo that look convex. You can checkout the photos here.

I'm not entirely sure a convex 2u even exists in XDA. It's something we can make a request but that doesn't mean the manufacture will be capable of doing it.

YanboWuThanks for checking on that! So just to confirm, the Minibars child kit (and Ortholinear) use all "normal" concave keys?
