How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

My keycaps are shorter than my keycap set, I thought they were compatible? I looked through the Overview and Specs section and noticed that Massdrop did not specify which profile these keycaps were. It only states that they are "Compatible with Cherry MX switches and clones". This is an error on MD's part. An experienced consumer in the hobby would automatically assume that these are GMK profile, but someone just entering the hobby would not know the difference or even to look. If you would like to request a refund please contact Massdrop's support or consider reselling your kits on /r/mechmarket. Although this set was intended to be purchased as a compliment to GMK Laser, it will also work with other GMK keycap sets.

My keycaps are lighter/darker than pictured, why? The shade of the color will depend on your lighting conditions. I did notice that the Dusk set was significantly lighter than MD's sample pictures and was unable to reproduce the exact colors as depicted even with professional equipment. Perhaps MD can comment on this.
@MiTo I understand that you are proud of your 'baby' and you would feel attacked by some of the other users. You should be careful with responding in hostility as it can only harm your credibility. The simple Q&A/FAQ you posted is enough to clear things up while remaining professional.
Thank you very much for the small sum up, it definitely helps as I'm having a bit of hard time communicating this time. I'm genuinely surprised/shocked about the amount of newcomers we had this time, I didn't expect the inflow of new customers on such a high frequency, so some of the reviews and post-delivery comments definitely caught me off guard.
That was my mistake and I acknowledge and take responsibility for it. Assuming that everyone would get things right of the bat, on such peculiar and innovative project. Lesson learned. I will assume less and work harder on the presentation and communication next time. We have veterans and newcomers here, information should be clear and straightforward to both groups.

I actually already made a Q&A/FAQ as you suggested (two days ago):

Please don't get me wrong, there's no pride involved in my craft. My love, pride and dedication is for the community, I take pride in the interactions and connections I establish with you fellow enthusiasts, every time I bring more people together in the hobby. I don't take pride in the products themselves. What I enjoy about this hobby is the journey and not the destination, the process of helping others. This doesn't mean I don't value the final product, again don't get me wrong. The final product is as important to me as the experience I serve to the community. I don't measure efforts to deliver the best products I can and this won't ever change, but there's no pride and therefore I don't feel attacked. Like I said above what I feel is genuine shock. I didn't expect that people would expect a different product.
Sincerely, Proud Co-Purveyor of MiTo's GMK Laser Universe
