Howdy community!
We are finally debuting the Pulse High Pro CTRL keyboard that we have been working on for the past couple of months! In order to answer some questions that I believe people will ask, please refer to the info below:

FAQ:
1) The BOX switches available in this drop are the new ones, which mean they won’t destroy or stretch keycap stems;
2) The 4 special 1u keycaps that will be included as the 1st round perks are a pair of R1 and a pair of R2, so they are compatible with all Pulse SA keyset options available in this drop.
I’d like to thank you all for the support and excitement that have surrounded the latest projects. Delivering manufactured goods is a challenging endeavor, impossible to achieve without the engagement and participation of our community, so thank you very much for supporting these ideas, projects and for checking this out! I hope the keyboard and keycaps exceed all of your expectations and if you have questions that have gone unaddressed, please drop me a line.
Godspeed! 🚀💫
MinaDarshThey are plate mounted Cherry style stabilizers that have been improved mechanically, from what I've read. Don't think these will give you trouble.
MiToThat is aweomse news about switches 👍. And that pulse case 😮. Even with RGB(not a fan) this is very tempting. And 199 for just the case(thank you for making this drop more entry level friendly) is a hell of a deal.
👍👍👍
MiToBeautiful keyboard, and would be perfect if it wasn't Tenkeyless. This would be amazing if you can make the same keyboard but FULL size with the keypad. I will join the drop at once! Hope you can make this happen! :) more power
MiToCan you provide a night photo of the Pulse SA Standard Sculpted version with RGB lights on.)?
(to compare with photo 10 of the Pulse SA - Noire in the dark)
MiToCan I ask, if I'm going to join this drop, the sending of this is next year Nov 2019 yes? When will the charge on the credit card be if I decide to join?
MiToI had no idea that was possible. mind = blown. @mito coming in with the life lessons lol. I always thought people were looking at the html source haha
MiToAny chance there’ll be any extras when you’re done? I wish I had seen this when it was active. Would kill for the standard sculpted on the pulse case. >_<
MiToHi! I know you're a busy guy. :) I just wanted to touch base with you to see if you had the opportunity to take photos of the case without keycaps so I can check the thickness out. I would really appreciate it as it is hard enough to wait until November to receive my Pulse CTRL!
MiToI would like to see photos of the case from various angles without keycaps installed. I want to see how thick the metal is in the areas surrounding the F-row and cursor control keys.
MiToWould you please be able to take a photo in the similar manner as the Jane I posted above? I'd really appreciate it. I'm just really excited to get my hands on the Pulse CTRL and November can't come soon enough!
MiToThis is really exciting! Thanks for sharing. The long wait is killing me. November seems so far away and I haven’t even used all my SA Pulse sets cause of this. I even have the Pulse desk mat ready for this. I should at least try my SA Pulse on all my boards so I will know what combination I’ll put on my Turquoise Pulse CTRL .😂
rowieHappy you enjoyed it Rowie, wished I could take better pictures... If these ones aren't very good please let me know @deejasaurus. I think the Pulse turquoise will look stellar too!
MiToThose photos are exactly what I wanted to see! I am really looking forward to getting this beautiful keyboard. Thanks again, MiTo!
How do you find the sound and heft of the keyboard?
deejasaurusNo problem and again I'm sorry for the delay... Regarding the sound, I think it isn't possible to describe the sound without mentioning the heft so I will try to provide you a figurative explanation. Imagine that you are were to tap with your fingers like the gif below on two different surfaces - first you'd tap on a box of matches and then you'd tap on the underside/top/sides of the CTRL keyboard.
search
You'd notice that with the box of matches, you could feel a feedback, like the cardboard bending slightly and the overall soft surface. You'd notice the matches moving around very slightly. If you tap on a drywall surface or something like an Anne Pro for example you'd feel the same "hollowness" and overall lack/softness of material.
If I tap my fingers on the CTRL I can't feel absolutely anything, it is the same feeling as tapping my fingers on a sidewalk or a solid block of concrete or steel. It feels like there is a keyboard carved out of two massive solid blocks of aluminum, it is a total tank. No type of typing force can possibly make the keyboard move around the desk, you'll have to raise it and move it or perhaps push it very hard in order to overcome the drag of the rubber feet. You can barely even hear the sound feedback from tapping on the metal surfaces of keyboard, all you can hear is the sound of your flesh and bones hitting the surface.
The keyboard has absolutely no flex whatsoever nor it bends, it is impossible to do that with your bare hands and I think you'd need a hydraulic press to make it concede slightly. People didn't realize yet but for the price it was this keyboard was the steal of the year. Considering its overall construction, hot swapping/RGB, programability, etc. Just to put into perspective, that Realforce 87 (rubber dome from Topre) costs upwards $215 dollars and this was $199, admittedly without keycaps. It isn't possible to find a keyboard comparable to this anywhere, let alone for the price. Very unique and I would say its heft and sound is nothing short of a mechanical keyboard gem.
MiToI have to agree. I avoided a lot of custom keyboards just cause I felt it had more value and bang for the buck! Only one I couldn’t avoid was M60-A in Milk since 1) I really wanted white and 2) Mito has renders of that keeb in all his drops. 😂 Now if only @MiTo will consider making a white version for the Mars in addition to black and purple I can be at peace. Plus a Mars white will look fabulous with Godspeed Apollo , Aries, pretty much any keycap.
MiToThat was a beautiful description. I'm finding it very hard to wait until November and I was looking at other (more expensive) keyboards to satiate my thirst for klacking but I can let my wallet rest and look forward to my Pulse CTRL to come in. This definitely sounds like one of the best keyboards you could buy especially at this price.
