How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

I would have also liked to see "white" legends ala SA Godspeed, and I think the typeface change and rounded art clash with the vintage ideology of honoring Apollo 11, something that made SA Godspeed an instant classic.
Renders do not contain several shades, they are Pantones used on Canvas. Colors will be manually adjusted (if needed) once I receive my samples but I'm pleased with the colors I've seen so far (Canvas). Despite not being a 100% match with Canvas, because batches of resin vary from batch to batch, they should be similar. The yellow and blue tones rendered on the kits are nearly identical to this Canvas shot. The blue is slightly more washed in real life then this picture shows. Yellow is slightly more vibrant. This color argument always happen, people's monitors vary and other factors take place, but I trust my judgement. You can be sure the final product will look better than the renders!

Current manufacturing techniques that exist do not allow that. White legends can't be dye sublimated on PBT plastic.

Appreciate the feedback and that you enjoy the Godspeed keycaps, the typeface used here is nearly identical to the one used on Godspeed, only slightly smaller.
However...
>Renders do not contain several shades, they are Pantones used on Canvas.
Actually they do -- due to the light and shadows in the render, the keys are a range of color values, and most if not all of the entire range is out of the Pantone gamut. This can easily be verified with Photoshop or other software licenced for Pantone repro and is independent of monitor calibration. The base material used in the software may be the correct color values or close, but the fast/basic render settings (it may be a program limitation) yield inaccurate renders. I'm happy to recommend settings if you let me know what software you're using.
I think you missed my main question: Will photos of physical samples be available before the drop ends?
Please understand that I'm a big fan -- I respect you, your work, and all that you've done for for the community. I'm willing to back these keys and while they are a good price compared to other sets, many of our wallets will still feel the hit -- I think it's only fair to ask for truly accurate sample shots in a pricey medium where color is of the utmost importance.
Can't guarantee that "accurate sample photos" will be shared before the drop, I don't have those yet. If you don't trust my judgement, then avoid the buy. But as you can see, like you said, Canvas photos look better than renders, I have experience in this craft and I know what I'm doing. The product you'll receive will be pristine.
Well played, MiTo. Well played indeed.
