Interesting deal, but very risk size wise. Jeans need to be tries on and this is almost guaranteed not to fit properly.

rumata13Your best bet is to find a local store that sells Naked and Famous Weird Guy fit

dead_pixel_designUsually do that at a nearby Nordstrom, where I went for that very reason, but they're not carrying N&F this summer. I hope to find a new place near Union Square in NYC before this drop closes.

dead_pixel_designMother of Scrod, am I familiar with that store! They do collaborations Massdrop style. Way back, their salespeople were the ones who got me to roll up some of my jeans instead of having them all hemmed.
I've bought jeans there; I've even had them do chain-stitching there, although I normally go to Denim Surgeons for that (Denim Therapy is a lesser alternative). I also know a great bespoke tailor on the west side who hems and chain-stitches on the cheap and I'll PM nearly anyone who asks about that guy because he's brilliant. I learned about him from fellow musicians in swing bands who like to wear perfectly tailored suits.
Self Edge is in the Ludlow St district of NYC, where I used to live. That store is way too specialized to carry N&F. The only non-Japanese brand I used to see in Self Edge was 3sixteen. There might be more brands now, but N&F is definitely too mainstream. Blue in Green in SoHo is a great denim store as well, but again is too specialized to carry mainstream brands.
Interesting how everyone used to sell Sugar Cane and Iron Heart and now only Self Edge does.
Revolve and Bloomingdales definitely have N&F jeans, though both stores veer off course for me. But perhaps other NY Massdrop members might benefit from knowing where they are. I've only ever ordered from Revolve's LA store, so I'd try Bloomingdales first to be safe:

Edit: Looking at the N&F store locator yields only Bloomingdales, ID Menswear and Blue & Cream for NYC. I've definitely bought them at Nordstrom, though, and will try one of the larger stores in Westchester:

VarholiaglimpThat's too bad about Self Edge, my local shop (Portland) has a few pairs of N&F. I'm actually going to be needing some hem work once these show up, even cuffed there will still be a little too much leg.

dead_pixel_designOT: When you say Portland, do you mean Portland, OR? That's the town where I grew up after moving from Vancouver as a tot. My grillfiend and I go to Portland nearly every year for my birthday because I miss it. This year will be no exception. NYC denizens don't always understand our quaintly perverse sense of humor.
Last time I was in Portland, I walked into a music store, started playing, drew a small crowd, was asked to stay for a demo -- with free microbrewery refreshments -- and won a synth module in a raffle. Portland is awesome.

VarholiaglimpThat sounds like my Portland all right! It's a great town, I'm glad you still get to come enjoy it once in a while.
