Jas260Regardless what JH Audio, 64 Audio, Westone or Shure try to make you believe, they all use drivers made by Knowles. They are in fact the only company that makes balanced armature drivers. These companies simply just pay to put a logo on them so they could rant about their "proprietary" technology.

swiftsword69Most of their are made byknowles. But the new one from 64audio may Design by themselves. Also there may be various types of drivers.
swiftsword69Fact 1
Mariamm-Webster

Fact 2

rnrneverdieSome are using BA drivers from the "normal" line up, available to every earphone manufacturer... but they still add their own tuning, crossovers, waveguides, freqphase, Adel modules and etc whatnot to it. Some (like Noble) with some of their models actually have specced their very own "proprietary" drivers that are build by Knowles, Sonion and the likes to their specs, and these are not available to anyone else. Hence, proprietary.
