Ooor you can skip the hype, save up a little bit more money and go for the CA Andromeda because, to my ears at least, it sounds much more natural and enjoyable than K10, also has wider stage and much better build quality.

TheDocI guess I just worded my thoughts poorly, the build is fine, it's just the connectors on the cable and jacks for them feel a little cheap on the K10, like they're gonna break with a little bit of force. On the Andromeda they are both made from metal and tough silicone. CA also claims they improved the MMCX with Beryllium Copper so detaching the cables wouldn't be risky at all.

Time will prove out if the connection is better than the original mmcx
The two pin prong, while not perfect has been around for two decades, and can support a lot of aftermarket cables that plenty of people own.
While I do like the mmxc as well, it seems to me, there is no perfect solution, so might as go with what isn't a mystery
