Does this mean this will be the last amount for this drop? Or is there a possibility of a future drop with a later shipping time, perhaps sometime early next year? I'm sure the additional 140 units will sell out, but I think the main deterrent for some us isn't necessarily the lack of funds, but the lack of funds within a limited timeframe. There wasn't much time between when this drop was first announced & the actual drop date.
I remain optimistic there will be a future drop from your comments regarding "this drop"! ;-)

rantngYeah I'm in the same boat, the fact that today is a banking holiday doesn't help. I don't have much cash lying around and mustering a grand for this requires some arm twisting and banking acrobatics for me. You might say if I can't come up with a grand immediately I can't afford it, but it just tells you how much I want this IEM.
Still, kudos to Massdrop for asking the Wizard to open up production for 140 additional units. I hope that you could open up more drop in the near future, really don't mind if I have to wait until after Christmas or early next year for my pair.

T.D.CI'm in the same position as you-- I completely don't have the resources right now. If it was five to six, sure (and the rest of the month would just suck) but nine? no way in hell. Which is unfortunate.
I just hope they come back sometime when I can manage it.

Al3mbicNot a card. You can only use it for online purchases. Almost all orders over 100 will apply for 6 month interest free pay period, with some websites getting special promotions. For example, I got 24 month financing on Newegg with a 10% apr.
Another one thing is that PayPal credit doesn't affect your credit score, except for when you first apply because they do a hard inquiry. A decision is made instantly within applying. I highly recommend it.

Here's what I'll probably end up doing since I kinda hate paypal: getting a secondary card, shrieking about it for a bit, and then hoping this drop comes back since it looks like all the extra pairs'll end up selling.

CEE_TEEOn the product description page it says a 2-pin braided 3.5mm TRRS cable is included as the stock cable. Not sure if it's a typo or indeed a single 3.5mm balanced cable?
