JonnymooshooThe massdrop version does not come with an ownership card, decal, or rubber bands. I agree about the tips. The tip holder has been fazed out but I felt like the tips could have been placed in a bigger baggie. I was worried for nothing though as no harm was done to the tips. Sorry to hear about your cable. I am sure Brannon will get you fixed up right away. I am thoroughly enjoying mine every day.

faithguy19Good to know about the missing items... definitely not expected it was a huge let down this morning when I sat in my car eagerly hoping to try them out. I sold my Sony XBA-Z5's to fund these so it's not the start I was hoping for. Hopefully they are worth the wait... for what it's worth what i'm hearing out of the left ear piece sounds good. :(

faithguy19No for sure didn't. the IEM was wrapped in the larger plastic baggie. I took it right out and plugged it in.
Update: Massdrop Customer Service got back to be. They said they only ordered enough units for the drop so the only resolution the can offer is for me to return it for a refund.... not what I want to do given I've waited so long and I want to keep them.

JonnymooshooI would wait until you hear back from noble. It sounds like all you need is a replacement cable.

JonnymooshooI received my K10's yesterday as well and have the same issue with the cable but for me the left driver cuts in and out. Massdrop Customer Support offered me a full refund if I returned it or a partial $40 refund to go towards a new cable. I really like the sound from these so I'm keeping them and will get a replacement cable from a local headphone store.

JonnymooshooI thought the IEM suppose to be red aluminum with black shell. The picture show the exact normal K10U with white shell. Just wondering if we should expect black or white shell, no big deal either way.

Picked mine up from the post office today. The first thing I noticed was how the ear tips were packaged. Stuffed into a small plastic ziplock, the sponge tips misshapen. Ok sure, not a big thing but it's not how I've seen these packaged in previous unboxing photos (see example from an unboxing of k10u's).
I also noticed that there was no ownership card, no noble decal, no rubber bands. Okay, this is disappointing but maybe cost savings is understandable to get a great deal on the k10u's.
What's worse is I've discovered the audio is cutting out intermittently on the right channel. I traced the issue to a loose connection or pinched wire at the headphone jack. Really not expected for an IEM of this price and brand name. Maybe Noble / Massdrop rushed these out after missing the original expected ship dates. I'll be contacting Noble for a replacement cable.
Has anyone else recieved a lemon on arrival?

UPDATE 2: Brennan at Noble will be overnighting a replacement cable. I guess every now and then one is defective as they purchase them in quantity. Too bad it's not a nice gold x silver cable the phase 2 guys are getting but I'll take what I can to get these working properly
