I just received mine. Every aspect is carefully packaged and in beautiful condition. Nothing missing. Everything is high quality. The sound is an unbelievable upgrade from the Nobel X. Straight out of the box and after two hours of listening, it is much clearer than the Nobel X. The location of instruments and singers is surprisingly sharp and precise. No aspect of the sound is bloated, slow, or veiled behind layers of other sound. Everything is clearly forward to the extent that music that before may have sounded like listening from the back of a live house has changed to the front stage of the live house. Yet sound stage hasn't diminished any, it is just so much more clearly separated.
I am listening to Allessandra Paonessa, Giorgia Fumanti, Eva Cassidy, Filippa Giordano, et. al.

SK1968After spending the weekend with the Noble K10 and Noble X with the supplied ear tips, it is very clear that the sound quality changes drastically depending on the tip used. I am sure this is going to be different with each individual. The silicon tips if well fitted will be brighter than using foam tips. I find Comply Sports Foam tips (with the blue center removed) provides a warm sound with 5x more bass response than the silicon tips. However, the Comply bass quality is not all that great and in fact, I am happier to give up all the bass for the much clearer treble response of the silicon tips. The silicon tips though in my case don't fit that well and the seal keeps breaking so I get then very lean bass (nearly gone).
Long story short, because the Noble IEMs have such a big neck, it is difficult to find a proper fitting tip. Most don't sit well in my ear cannal except the foam tips. But foam tips loose a lot of clarity and the thinner rubber tips either don't go far enough into my ear cannal to stay secure because of the tube diameter or I have to use such a large diameter silcon tip to seal better that sits outside my ear cannal and is always moving.
Sound quality is so dependent on the fit, that I might have to recommend getting a cheaper custom model verse getting the better universal model if it doesn't fit the individual.

SK1968I use JVC Spiral Dots with Noble UIEMs exclusively. The supplied clear silicone tips don't sit right in my ears. The double flanges are too shallow and hurt. Silicone with small bores disrupt the sound too much, and foams sound muddy. I've also tried Spin Fits, but prefer the Spiral Dots. (Just ordered another pack from Amazon!)
