Holy F-/-!!! July!!! What a freaking nigjtmare. What are the chances these arive and they’ve been slapped together in haste?... So disapointed. I dropped off last time because of the same delay, thought everyone would have their sh*t together this time. Guess not..

SStasThe delay is ridiculous. I'm cancelling my order.

SStasI had been a fan of Noble for a long time and had even purchased Noble IEMs in the past. I do really like the Noble products, but there are many more competitive alternatives in the market now with better customer service (especially now that Brannan left Noble). I'll probably get a pair of custom UE 18+ Pros with the refunded money (they come with Linum SuperBaX cables and normal turn around time is 12-14 business days).

weftThanks for that. I was using a large chunk of savings for these (~$1300 CND), which could very well go elsewhere, but I have always wanted a pair if the best IEMs after nearly finishing upgrading my HiFi to endgame.... I guess I will also need to dig deep and do some research to see if this is truely worth giving my sheckles to two companies that seem to think it is OK to continuously treat their customers this way...

SStasDefinitely. I'm going to have to think twice before recommending Noble to friends in the future. Check out this list of IEM rankings: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/crinacles-iem-ranking-list-170-entries-11-05-update.857498/ The rating of an IEM is, of course, subjective and it depends on what kind of sound signature you are looking for, but i'm finding this list a really great resource for finding my endgames.

weftSo basically the Canpfire Andromeda is the closest all around comparable? the 64s seem way too expencive... Canpfire seems to have amazing build quality as well... problem is that the MD price for these IEM really is pretty good, (but maybe not when considering the hassle-cost..) 😄

SStasAlthough i've put in my request to leave this drop out of frustration, I still think the K10s are a great pair of IEMs at this MD price. I've demoed the original acrylic K10s on a few different occasions and have found the tuning to be quite musical and lush with some emphasis on the bass and slight sparkle in the treble--overall very inoffensive. The soundstage is smaller than that of average TOTL IEMs. I haven't tried the Andromedas, so can't comment on how they sound. 64 used to have a quite affordable lineup, but it looks like they have moved on to making expensive IEMs with some crazy driver counts.

SStasI'd say the Andromeda is one of the best IEM at $1k. Just be aware of fit and what your source is to drive them.

kdphanwould you mind elaborating on both those points? Fit and source constraints? Thanks!

SStasOutput from your source can affect how the Andromeda sounds. I think anywhere around 1ohm and it's perfect. Any lower or higher, bass becomes too thick or too thin. Sony ZX2 and WM1A pair great with the WM1A. LG V30 isn't too far off either.
Fit: Smaller ears can have trouble with the Andromeda being uncomfortable due to edges. The nozzle is also very short and it might not get a good seal for some people.
So once you're able to get a good fit and pair it up with a good source, the andromeda sound amazing for $1k.

weftCrinacle rates it lower but I'd put the Ultimate Ears reference remastered up there with what he put in his S rank.
Ultimate Ears has incredible customer service too, especially if you're a local.

FrostyPUERR and UERM are both great if you want a reference sound. I ended up using the refunded money toward a JH Audio CIEM.

SStasOops on that double post... I highly recommend the campfire andromeda (not the other campfire iems). Not too warm, sparkly highs, spacious soundstage.
Not to detract anyone here from buying one. But I have heard almost the entire range of Noble IEMs, hoping snag one myself. They are simply not what I would expect at their price range. Maybe that's just me.
The head-fi ranking is pretty accurate though, and a good guide to what's the best in value at each tier. I would suggest using it as a starting point if you are in the market for a good set of IEMs.

sykeIt's not too bad of a guide but everyone's ears are different so research into the sound of what you are thinking of buying. For example, that list rates the earsonics SM64 at tier D when to me it deserves to be in tier B. Just my two cent.
