Just got my shipping notice this morning, should receive them by Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how these compare to my other Massdrop purchases. This was my first Massdrop purchase, to replace a pair of Westone 4R where the internal wires separated after the housing split open. Since then, I have gotten from Massdrop TFZ Series 5S, NuForce Primo8, and NuForce HEM8, with the HEM8 as my mainly daily driver. I've been holding off purchasing others (i.e. Campfire Audio Lyra II, FCL8S, 64 Audio U5, Earsonics S-EM6) until I receive the Noble X. I do have to say I am very happy with the HEM8. My previous daily drivers included Etymotic ER4S and FutureSonics Atrio, plus cheap pair of Westone 1 as a emergency in-between when the W4Rs broke.

UnderTheHillI received my Noble X today, and I do have to say I am very happy with them. Comparing against my daily drivers, the NuForce HEM8, the HEM8 has more "power" to them, but the clarity and musicality are very similar, which is very impressive when you consider that the HEM8 retails for basically double the cost of the Noble X, and the HEM8 are quad drivers vs. the Noble X are dual drivers. My main genre for listening to hard rock/metal. So my HEM8 will stay as my daily drivers, but if I didn't have them, nor did I have the Primo8, the Noble X would easily be my new daily drivers.

UnderTheHillI got the hem2s out of that blue box. They have been steady but unsatisfying in a lot of ways( mostly bass; and sub bass output falls off like a cliff). Though I new I was waiting on these :) Overall I'm super happy. Detail is good. Separation is good. Bass is just enough but very tight. I have yet to test with an amp or anything other than my iPhone 6 for a dac so that may change my opinion as well but I got these for a top their mobile option
