My first impression is that it is the best IEM I have heard. In terms of sound quality, it is better than IE800, though as not comfortable as much (which might be an important factor whenever you look at IEM). Still it is NO where in the same league as high-end over-ear headphones. This comparison may be unfair given it is IEM, but you need to aware of it. While it is good for casual listening outdoor, I would listen my Ether C whenever it is within my reach. For me, comfortableness is an important factor for IEM. I wish it fitted better to my ears.

TheDevilishGOdUnfortunately, I don't know. But I guess it easily competes with it.

TheDevilishGOdI have the AKG K3003s (genuine), they have a flatter response than these and offer more clarity. You really hear the details with the AKGs, but perhaps a bit too much. They're great if you want to hear instrument separation and all the little details like fingers scraping against a guitar string or a chair squeak. They can get a tiny bit sibilant at the top end.
The Noble Xs are a more colored/warm IEM. Where they do beat the AKGs is the soundstage. I feel very immersed in the music I listen to, and it's comfortable to listen to and wear for extended periods of time. It's very much a daily driver type IEM. I heard that BAs aren't capable of producing the amount of bass a DD can produce, but the Noble X proved that wrong at least to me. The sub-bass is there, but not overly noticeable, but the mid-bass is tight and punchy with some extra oomph. Mids are great, and the treble - really really comfortable to listen to. It really isn't sibilant at all. I have the LZ-A4s, and the sub-bass and mid-bass on those is great, but the treble is too strident (using the blue front filter). I didn't use the black front filters on the LZs because I feel they reduce the soundstage, but that's just my (most likely placebo) experience.
I think comparing the AKG K3003 (a top of the line IEM) to the Noble Xs is comparing apples to oranges. The AKG K3003s are reference monitors and are meant to provide very accurate and analytical sound. The Noble Xs turn sound into music, I feel like I'm being focused on the overall song rather than individual elements of it. Hopefully that makes sense.

JephreThank you for your reply, it is exactly the response I was looking for. I do have one more question: how do these compare to the IE800's? I've been looking to buy them for quite a while.

franz1IDK man IE800s are total garbage to be compare with other buds due to how biased the pair is to instruments and can't perform to other aspects of music.
