Only two left and I was going to join, but I'll just go get an Opus #1 instead. Maybe next time.

KITTYNah, it's not worth it. Sound's wonky. It's alright for a $100 IEM, but for 250 you're paying too much for the brand name. Plus, you got one already, right?

malvinvnvWonky.....! Hahahaha what's your source and reference base or experience with iem's? Never-mind I feel if one cannot understand the value of something it's not for you anyways.

malvinvnv"I got mine! It's on the mailbox and I didn't checked it earlier! It sounds good for what it is. Mids are clear as day, and the midbass plays along nicely with my list of songs. Treble's pretty up there so there's a decent amount of airy feeling in it. I find the song to pair well with modern songs, vocal centric songs or old songs tbh. Orchestral piece isn't rendered nicely as there's some harshness when playing string songs, especially when things get real lively. Imaging's solid and I can really make out vocals, percussion, guitars and bass' position around the song and it also has good soundstage for an IEM All in all, this is a fast IEM with good body on the midranges and good imaging and soundstages. Exercise caution with the volume since this can get loud, and you won't realize that it's too loud until you hit a hard song (typically string orchestra. Chinese orchestra are one such thing) and the esses will stab you a bit. If you want an EDM monster, this is not it. This doesn't have that full-bodied subbass. But in a pinch it'll do, although a cheaper, more V-sounding IEM would do better on that. I think it's well worth the $250 pricetag" - Malvinvnv
Make up your mind, which is it lol?

KITTYThat's my first impression. After spending 3 hours with it, I notice the flaws, and there's a ton of it. So much so that I don't think it's worth the money. Mids was clear as day, but after further inspection, it's due to boosted 5-8k region. But comparing it with others, it sounds too heavy and muffled, as if the 3-4k region is dipped. And I did say about that when things get really lively. After close A/B with IM02, imaging's fuzzy. Fuzzy as hell. Sure you can pick what's left and right, but the imaging is not precise.
As for transients, it's getting slower, and slower when compared to the IM02, and the very agile U4-SE. Soundstage is good, but after getting more into the world, it's average, at best.
I've made up my mind long ago. You just haven't seen my review on Reddit. Also, I really have to tone everything down for fear of fangirls like you. For someone who I thought was quite nice, it's surprising that you can and will and love to dig around the comments simply to refute me. Amazing how much free time you have.
And then, yes. I said that statement. I'm just saying that it's stupid to own 2 of the same pair when you can get second handed at the same price. It sounds average at 100 dollars, and shit at 250. This is my final statement. I shan't change it. I shan't refute it, regardless of what you do to me.
Again, Noble sound is **never** for me. And the company's a bit of a money grabbing business with disregard to balanced, non positive comments either.
@MusicLvr It's wonky compared to IM02. Midbass is too bloated on the X, Midrange is too heavy and sibilance is present except on EDM tracks. It is uncomfortable to listen to coming out of iPhone, HA-2 SE, or anything. To me, a cable will fix it, but it's an Effect Audio Thor 2. I can buy HD600 combo with that money.

malvinvnvIt's pretty easier to make up your mind when you comparing one to another. It's just all personal preference, you did not mention what songs, what source you use to drive the X, also you said you didn't like Noble's sound signature, ok, i think that pretty much explained why you hate the X, but your commend "worth $100" and "shit at $250" just doesn't make any sense. What $100 IEM you refer to? What $250 IEM you also refer to? Your commends simply like:" "I dislike the sound signature of IE800 so this IEM is shit like $100 worth IEM." Which I won't take your review as reference.

ArcherYCWell I've read many people say the same thing, that the Noble X is just between 'alright' and 'pretty good' @ $250. I had the Noble Savanna which I would not pay more than $250 for (at its $500 MSRP, hell no) -- it seems that the most of the Noble products are initially overpriced as you're paying a premium for the brand name, and the Noble X is the first IEM of theirs that is not ludicrously priced.

KITTY@ArcherYC https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/62iy05/got_my_noble_x_today_impressions_inside/?ref=share&ref_source=link Have fun
@KITTY I was mainly comparing it with the IM02. Bass is a lot tighter in it, and the vocals are sweeter and there's no peak that made it painful to listen to. They both, to me, fall on the same category of being neutral-warm. The graphs on IF suggests that this is balanced but to me, it doesn't sound like it. There's some good moments in it, where the tizz can sound natural and fine, but it's by no means a versatile IEM that many tout it to be. The cheaper IM02 feels tighter on the lower ends, with nice bass and mids separation, albeit having a bit more rolled off treble than I personally prefer. But, it's fine, because the tuning is quite tasteful. The X has heavier body on the bass that bleeds to the mids, and a rather recessed upper midrange and some spike on the treble, so if you want to call this a V-shaped IEM, it doesn't pull it off that nicely either. Comparing it to the crazy cheap Carbo Tenores, the Tenores pulls all the moves tastefully, and considering its dirt cheap price, it's still amazing that they can still produce that much quality over its much more expensive IEMs, and for a dynamic driver, the bass is pretty tight too. Shame it's got a flimsy build quality. But even if it means I have to pay 50 more for an over-ear setup with that kind of sound, I don't mind.
If you wanna be bonkers, I've compared it to the U4-SE as well (If you think this is worth MSRP). The U4-SE has more body in the subbass, and a controlled one at that. Midbass is just enough to get you satisfied as well. The mids isn't recessed, and even rather pronounced and then the treble's sparkly without any fatiguing sound. 64 really pulled it off, and pulled it off well in this IEM.
Compare it to what else? The very V-shaped 1More Triples? Sure. Because of hybrid setup, this one has big and massive slam. Subbass region and near to midbass has a lot of power. It does overpower the midranges as the mids sound very recessed but the treble is quite a bit of the saving grace in this thing because it tizzes well enough. Admittedly, the timbre for the drums is really wrong on this, especially cymbals, hi-hats, ride etc. But it's fine, because it's a hybrid 2 BA and 1 DD setup. And at 99 dollars it's actually pretty decently priced too.
Let's get crazier, JH13V2. JH13 has this signature of being extremely punchy and fun sounding. I'm gonna base the impression on its lowest bass setting. The JH13 can sound very natural and super friendly for modern pop music and rock, just like the X. It does sound congested and heavy in classical recordings but it makes it up for still having a decent amount of airiness to the sound. There's no sibilance issues in here as well too for me. So that's fine.
Andromedas? Sure. Andros are extremely tasteful, save for that bright green colour (It kinda grows to me too tbh). The sound on the Andros is extremely fabulous. There's everything for everyone. You love mids? Sure thing, let me give that for you. You love treble? No problemo! You want some slam? Lemme slam real hard. PRaT on this thing is crazy, and considering it's a 5BA setup it's crazy they can get such good amount of power in low ends and crazy good amount of extension in the high ends. Oh, and this thing didn't spike me in the ears when playing strings too. The X sounds very heavy and incoherent compared to this.
What more you want to know? And FYI in the comments to @MusicLvr I made super short comparo to IM02. If that didn't satisfy you, read this wall of text
So honestly speaking, after spending quite a while with the X, I came to a conclusion that this IEM to me, doesn't worth the 250 price tag. The IM02 can edge it out by sheer price and performance ratio and if you still want much better PRaT and imaging, a second hand ER4XR would probably be the most effective option at the price. I appreciate the X for what it is, but at the pricing, and with that sound quality, it's getting harder and harder for me to love it with each passing second. And, this'll get me permabanned from HF but what the heck, I also quite dislike the hivemind surrounding this brand. You got awfully defensive on my statement earlier and quoted me on the main objective of audiophilia. That statement holds. But you're entitled to your own opinion also, no? I was merely voicing it. I'm interested in the background on why it drove you to say that.
