Can anyone take a shot at comparing these to UE TripleFi 10's?
Is going down from 3 drivers to 2 crazy?

koolpepYeah for sure. I'm so pleased with my custom MD Fostex I'd love to try a custom MD IEM. Just don't want to waste money if they're too close to my current IEM's

kartiksathappanI spend a few weeks with the UMPro50, liked them a lot, just missed a bit treble sparkle - otherwise awesome IEMs *(liked them more than the W60) and yep - no reason for you unless you want an additional, more affordable pair for a different use case.

kartiksathappanOMG I'm using the TripleFi 10 too!!! wondering about the sound quality as well but the Noble is definitely better looking, and maybe more comfortable/easier to fit than the TF10

the most driver, the better. thats why their flagship has a gazillion drivers compared with their entry level.

needhelpI know, I have the K10. But does it explain why the 2 driver Sage is $599 and the 4 driver Savanna is $499 and 3 driver trident is $399? Also their previous flagship the K10 was 10 drivers - then it got superseded by the Katana with 9 drivers (and now the new K10 Encore has 10 again). It's not the amount of drivers but also which drivers these are. The new Noble proprietary drivers seem to be able to do more than the off-the-shelf ones used before. Also look at 64audio - their flagship had 18 drivers per side - $2,999 - their new flagship - 4 drivers tubeless for $3,599 - so while it had some merit to it - more drivers the better - I think that has changed, as the BA drivers get better too and you don't need so many drivers anymore.

koolpeptry compare apple to apple. for instant, at same period of product line up. at any given time, the whole family of noble/jh/UE, the higher the driver count, the higher the price, and also the better 'implied' better sound. katana has 9 drivers. not 1. it still is double or triple driver counts than their entry level isnt it? 64 audio has new flagship with 4 drivers tubeless? so how many drivers do their entry level has? 1 or 10? obviously the more is still the better.

needhelpit used to be that way. Yes Totally agree. At least that's what the companies wanted us to think :-) But with more and more specialzed and proprietary drivers coming to the market this is changing. And that was my point. You can have a 4 driver model with proprietary drivers outperforming a 8 or more driver model with off-the-shelf drivers. Right now as I mentioned some models with more drivers are cheaper on nobles website than the models with proprietary drivers.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?

I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?

Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
