I got a new pair (authentic) Senns IE800 for less than $450, but haven't opened them yet. I enjoy EDM/trance, classical, pop/top 40. I almost never listen to hardcore rap, jazz, alternative, heavy metal, or rock music. Previously I much enjoyed the sound of my TripleFi.10s but not the comfort as after an hour they tend to hurt my ear canals. I also owned Klipsch X10 which I felt inferior to TripleFi.10s in every way, except for comfort. I found the treble and bass lacking on my AKG K7XXs, although for classical and gaming (sound-stage), I like them over TripleFi 10s. Compared to the TripleFi.10s I find the AKG K7XXs not as fun for EDM. I gifted the K7XXs and bought HiFiMan HE-400i to replace them for in-home use, hoping they will add better treble and bass over the AKG K7XXs.
I am guessing it's better for me to keep the IE800s than buy these Noble X's based on my musical preferences? I prefer fun sounding IEMs with sparkly treble and tight strong bass. Would IE800 be a better upgrade for me over my TripleFi 10s compared to the Noble X's? Based on everything I've read, it seems IE800 is one of the best universal IEMs for EDM under $800.

BestJinjoI mean what's the point, You've already bought the IE800 lol. You should make that decision yourself since it seems like you know yourself better than anyone. Don't ask people about those type of questions, you'll not find your answers here. I'll leave some link for you who have actually reviewed this product (Noble X) so that you can decide. http://www.head-fi.org/products/massdrop-x-noble-x-universal-iem/reviews/17389 http://www.head-fi.org/t/827755/massdrop-x-noble-x-universal-iem-earphone-review-by-mark2410

BestJinjoas you describe your preference is V-shape sound which the Noble X is not (as described by all the reviews so far).

BestJinjoI upgraded my Triplefi 10's with Noble Savants last year, and I think theysound quality increase was significant. I always enjoeyd the substantial bass of the Triplefis, but I always thought the were a bit out of control and made coustic music a bit unrealistic. Acoustic double-bass sounded like the recording went through some heavy handed loudness filter. The Savants gave me the realistic deep bass I was looking for, and so much more. These should be a clear updrade to the Triplefi-s, I think you should give them a try. It doesn't hurt to have an extra pair.
