Ok, I have to give credit where it's due. Ava from customer service and I have been communicating because I had a bad right IEM that was blown very shortly after getting the Nuforce EDC IEM's. Well, even though it took a little bit longer than I was hoping it would, I can't thank her enough for sending me a completely new pair/package, and now I couldn't be ANY happier than I am right now! I should be good to go on cables and accessories for the EDC IEM's for a LONG time now LoL 😁
So I'm very grateful that Massdrop stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for me! Let's hope that the broken right IEM was just a bad seed and the new pair lasts me a very long time! I will DEFINITELY be buying more from Massdrop in the future after how they handled my situation!
So kudos again to Ava and Massdrop for giving me a brand new pair of the EDC IEM's and going above and beyond for me, and I'm really glad that I didn't just get a refund because these sound great for my listening needs (Sony Walkman NW-A35)!

FOBeanI've had a chance to listen to the EDC IEM's a bit more since getting my replacement pair, and I F'N LOVE how these sound for my listening needs so far! I am always listening to my recordings from shows/concerts with my Schoeps mics and SD Mixpre6 recorder, and these are perfect for that IMO 😎👍 Here's my listening setup FWIW! Sony Walkman NW-A35>Darktrain custom Right Angle 1/8" cable>FiiO E11K HP Amp>Massdrop x Nuforce EDC IEM's>Comply Isolation+ Large memory foam tips!
The highs and mids are solid, and the low-end has great pronunciation and decays quickly, which is great for my Schoeps mics, because they can get those lower frequencies better than most mic's out there! I'm extremely happy with them this far, and I hope that they last me a LONG time to come! And having the Comply tips creates a PROPER seal in both of my ear canals, which no silicone tips could EVER do for me! Those are definitely the icing on the cake if you ask me LoL 😁
I've read numerous reviews here on Massdrop and I read that ALL IEM's should be burned in for around 100+/- hours! So far I have about 20 hours broken in on them, and they'll be running almost 24/7 until I get to the 100 hour mark! So thanks again for all of the great reviews and discussion about the EDC IEM's, because I looked everywhere for a few months before I decided on these!
That said, I love my EDC IEM's sooo much, that I am probably going to grab the HEM 1 IEM's just to have the supposedly better clarity that the BA drivers have. As of right now I couldn't be ANY happier, and I'm hoping that having the Nuforce EDC and HEM 1 IEM's will cover ALL of my IEM needs. Better low-end on the EDC IEM's and better clarity with the HEM 1 IEM's! Does that sound like a smart idea? Or should I just enjoy the EDC IEM's and save up for a pair of Westone IEM's with BA drivers?
Thanks in advance for any help and experience that you can share👍

FOBean100 hours for break-in??? I think not. ;) Close, though. I have a little under 200 hours on mine, and every time I try them again... they improve more. My first opinion of these, straight out of the box was that they were some of the worst IEM's I've ever tried. Horribly dissappointed and dumbfounded at the 'better' reviews. But knowing that they were dynamic as apposed to BA, I started kicking the crap out of them and within 48 hours I heard a VAST improvement. So I upped the volume and put on another 48 hours, and again.
While nowhere near class A, they are getting much better and more listenable and for $60... nearly worth the cost. I'll put on about 300 or so hours and then make a more definitive statement. Right now, they are a work in progress. Cheers
