I just want all of you people to know that this type of earphones, while often great in many ways will invariably break in the same way: the cable where it loops around the ear WILL break in about 2 or 3 years. I've owned 2 pairs of Shure (150 and 200€) and a Westone UM2 (250€ at the time) and needless to say that I take great care of these expensive things and they ALL break for the same reason: cable ends being cut because of thousands of torsion through normal usage.
You will enjoy them thoroughly for some time, then they'll break.
EDIT: I stand corrected !

MoonStanWell thankfully there are LOTS of aftermarket cables so that we can replace the cables Instead of the IEM's themselves πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ˜‡πŸŽ§
I'm not sure about the Nuforce 2-pin cables that the EDC/EDC3's, and the whole HEM lineup use, but there's a BUNCH of MMCX aftermarket cables for my Primo 8 IEM's! I'm pretty sure something like the Westone Epic 2-pin cable or something similar would replace the Nuforce cables though, right?
Jyri, can you comment and confirm the statement that I just made about aftermarket 2-pn cables for the EDC and HEM Series?

FOBeanHm. I don't think you can reasonably easily change the cable. These are embedded in the drivers' housing and I'm not quite sure that said housing can even easily opened, if at all.

MoonStanHuh? These IEMs have removable cables, you can see a photo of them with the cables detached.
You're right that cables are most often the cause of failure, which is why 'phones with detachable cables is such a great feature.
