novosThe sound is neutral, not cold but not overly warm either, no significant bass bump (actually below 400Hz these are flat). So I´d say these are good for Classical music and jazz.

JyriHi Jyri is the treble extension enough for classical instruments like violins higher up the FR? I'm worried there may be roll-off leading to a 'flat' sharp sound for violins. If there's enough shimmer it may work.

gemmoglockTaste is always subjective but I´d say there is enough shimmer and it doesn't sound "dead". I´ll take another listen today though just to refresh my ears. :-)

JyriThanks @Jyri! If it helps I recently demoed the HD600 and liked the general FR. I also demoed a friend's MD+ but found the treble a little too smooth and could use a bit more extension and air.
