@YanboWu In your May 10th update where you announce the delays due to PCB production issues, you say that "Other components like the CNC case, plate, accessories and keycaps are completed". If that was accurate, why did I get an email yesterday telling me that the specific kit combination I wanted (silver, tactile, blanks) was backordered? Based on the fact that every single other combination was available for me to choose from as a replacement, the issue was specifically with silver cases. I selected a black case same keys and caps this morning but that is apparently now out of stock too (probably the other people in my position choosing black).
I'm not just trying to be snarky here. I think it's a fair question. There is a very real possibility that I am being naive about the entire process. I am a simple man (who buys hobby keyboards! LOL) so, in my mind, I keep things very simple. X orders are placed of which a certain percentage, say Y, require silver cases. I assumed that when you said the statement above that you, or someone you work with, counted parts for completed orders and came up with X and that Y of them had silver cases. I am genuinely curious about where such a disconnect would occur where 7 weeks after the parts were accounted for, they now aren't.
Let's be real: the case is the least important part here (at least for me). I just think that it's an interesting stumble that is a great retrospective item when analyzing the failures in this drop.
