The original Sprout was a great purchase for our bedroom and is used daily with a Amazon Dot and Samsung S5. It does fine powering Usher RW-729 speakers on our side dresser. No complaints or problems as it is constantly powered on to receive commands. Low volume resolution is outstanding. My wife even loves it as she was skeptical about another electronics buy. I played her favorite song, Michael Buble's Everything for the first song for the unit straight after hookup and she cried as we danced together in the room. The power of music and great equipment. I would gladly upgrade for the remote and more power but I can't justify the upgrade the original is still sounding fantastic. Unless, I convince my daughter to take it and place my old turntable in her room. Either way, the original or the new Sprout II, you can't go wrong. Any chance of and upgrade program for the Original early investors/adaptors, Scott? Any doubts, check out the other PS Audio products and you will fine this to be a steal! PS Audio has been a leading innovator high end company in the high fidelity audio circles around the world.
