There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. cool jacket though
I'm exchanging it for a size up and we'll see if that helps with the hood sizing issue, though I kind of doubt it. Bummer though, because the fabric is pretty neat, it doesn't feel like a plastic bag at all. I'm surprised by how warm the jacket is for such a light layer as well.
As for the velcro wrist closures, I think they're pretty clutch. Same goes for the hand pockets. I plan on using it more as a casual jacket though, so maybe your improvements will be better for someone doing more technical hiking. I'll also say that your black is probably more attractive than the 3 colors they have it available elsewhere.
