ok. So a couple things if people wanted to get a new better bearing for this spinner from amazon.
I first got a full ceramic(the all white one) for like $13. Its pretty smooth. Got an ok 1:30 table spin out of it. I'm sure after I break it in ill get 2 to 3. Almost no wobble. Not loud either, but still audible.
Then I got the 608 to r188 adapter(comes with r188 bearing) in black also for around $13. This thing is nice. Got 4 minutes easy on a table spin and its super smooooth and quiet. The only problem is the small finger pad reveals the bearing housing. So ill have to buy a new pad now that is big enough to cover it up. I want to add that the full ceramic and the original bearing do not sit flush in the spinner. One side will always stick a little bit out. However, this adapter just barely does. It almost fits perfect but just barely peaks out so that's a plus.
This spinner would have been amazing if it just had a lock in r188 to begin with and none of these damn screws on the side. So for next time keep this amazing shape, drop the screws, and add an r188 and i am sold. Also hand out review samples to some youtubers or something. I felt a little blindsided by this drop.
But both of these bearings are good options. Once I get the new cap im probably going to switch to the r188, but for now its the regular 608. I will also be keeping a look out for spinetics out of stock r188 adapter thats just $3.00 and comes in brass!
