Wondering if anyone might have a lead on where I can order a few of the same hex screws used on this? I'd like to grab a couple since I'm betting it'll be a while before Massdrop can get this mess sorted out. I don't have any calipers otherwise I'd take a crack at figuring out the threading.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

maguffinstuffI measure them as M3x0.5x4 set screws with 1.5mm hex key. I'm sure they are the standard screws you can get from anywhere.

ShockolateThe ones it came with are cup point but that might be a bad choice because it grabs and turns the bearing and tends to ruin the alignment. I think the manufacturer just used whatever was common/cheapest.
I'm thinking of trying some cone tip or rubber-tipped screws if I can find them.

awkAren't Cone and Rubber Tipped serve opposite functions? One's destructive to the surface, the other is compliant.

ShockolateI don't care too much about the surface of the bearing (the ones I've tried, as well as the adapters I tried, are now scratched up from these screws anyway). I want to see if they can bear down on the bearing without getting it out of alignment.

awkMy concern would be the deformation of the bearing impacting spinning, but I guess that's just a factor of tightness. Thanks!

ShockolateOh yeah that's a big problem with this design. When I first got it, I over-tightened the screws and it would've even turn at all. But it depends on the bearing material. I swapped it for another bearing and over-tightened it the same way, and it worked fine.
I think people are tightening it different amounts and blaming the bearing, it's actually an adequate bearing, it just deforms really easily. It's designed to be press-fit after all. Mine spins 2-3 minutes after cleaning and screwing down very lightly.
I'm wondering if a pointed screw would carve a little divot in the bearing for a better grip. I'm just in problem-solving mode with this spinner right now...

awkI'm probably being dense here so bare with me. I'm on McMaster-Carr's page for the set screws and I'm having some trouble figuring out how to translate "M3x0.5x4" into the tables of data they display. Which of these do you think I should order? Thanks again!!

This is 18-8 stainless.. the std steel ones might be a bit cheaper. Also, I don't know if they include the nylon tip in the 4mm over all length or not (really difficult to view their site on my phone, LOL). If not, try 3mm OAL if available.

Then decide what material you want:
* Metric Alloy Steel Cup-Point Set Screws --- these are usually coated in black oxide * Metric 18-8 Stainless Steel Cup-Point Set Screws --- like the stock screws * Metric Super-Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel Cup-Point Set Screws --- similar
Then, find the section label "M3 × 0.5 mm" then under that will be different lengths. The stock screw is 4mm long, however the hole is 5mm deep so the head of a 5mm screw will be just below the surface.

I got mine from Fastenal which lets you get a smaller quantity: https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/MX2510004A20000
You can also find them on eBay, they are very common (the "not readily available" in MD's email is BS). Just search for "m3 cup point 4mm" or similar.

NeWaVdubsI think @maguffinstuff is looking for straight replacements of the lost screws... of course if anybody wants to experiment with different tips there's plenty. At this point I don't think it's worth the trouble.
Generally the tips are excluded from the measurements.
