Got my Perpetua in yesterday number 0022. I have to say that this is a great knife at this price point. I wasn't sure if I would like this knife initially. When I opened the box to inspect it I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and finish of this knife. The action was a little stiff out of the box. So I put a couple of drops of Tufglide on the pivots, drop where the blade rides on the axis lock bar, and drop on each side of the axis lock. I noticed an improvement already. The knife is sharp out of the box but I decided to strop with 3 micron emulsion followed by a couple of passes on a dry strop. Took me all of 5 minutes to make me see why nitro v was used, its literally as sharp as a straight razor. After carrying this knife all day it snow broken in to where I can compare this knife to my year old large griptillian. I definitely like the ergo's better on this knife, it's lighter, thinner, and better finished than my benchmade. I can honestly say the I like it better than my 940-1 as well. I know the pocket clip could be better but I know that Millit will probably make a nice clip for this knife in the future. Saw some people had issues with blade centering ,my knife was perfect out of the box. I do admit the clip is a little on the thin side but it provides more than adequate tension to hold the knife in my pocket. I don't have anything negative to say about this knife, it does what I expect a knife should. It's unobtrusive, don't even notice it in my pocket, takes a keen edge, and its maintains its edge even after cutting up about a dozen cardboard boxes. Great job TJ, Millit , and Massdrop, great knife guys!
I'm not actually weighing the 2 knives , plus I don't own a g10 grip so I believe on paper its lighter but when compared to the one in the picture it feels lighter.
