Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

These HD 58X Jubilee are a mix of DNA from the original HD 580 Jubilee (which were a limited run until we released the HD 600 with the same sound signature), the HD 650, and the treble extension of the HD 660 S. So, they are not a direct rebrand of an existing model, but a new member of the family. When these are delivered early 2018, it will be the 25 anniversary since the launch of the HD 580 Jubilee, which set the stage for Axel Grell’s contributions and the HD 6 series line!
Historically, the limited edition HD 580 Jubilee was so well liked that we brought the same sound signature into continuous production as the HD 600. When the new headphones ship early 2018, it will be the 25th anniversary of the headphone that started the HD 6 series!
Sonically, the HD 58X Jubilee will mix some of the “DNA“ characteristics of the HD 600, 650, and 660 S, but in a new affordable easier to drive package that provides a great entry into the series above the HD 598. It is also physically larger than the HD 598, so the HD 58X Jubilee will serve more as a “transportable” open headphone rather than an “on the go” portable headphone, so in some use cases (the office? Hotel?) you may prefer to bring your HD 598. Although it will arrive in 2018, the HD 58X Jubilee will also make a great “Gift” Headphone to start someone on high quality audio.
It sounds like i have to grab myself a pair, especially considering how great the price is. Is the fit the same as the hd600/650?
