Massdrop has been selling through mass purchases, also known as others and marketed. This time they have collaborated with Sennheiser to create the HD 58X Jubilee. A limited edition headphones with a good quality plastic construction, but with some but.

Although I told you that its construction is good it gives me the feeling as if they were a lower price than they cost. And that shows in small details like the finishes of the upper headband, in which the limited series number is a sticker, or that in the silver area where HD 58X Jubilee puts you can see that there is a screw or something similar underneath.

The cable they come with is what Sennheiser usually uses, a thick and flexible cable with a 3.5mm jack connection and its 6.3mm jack adapter. The connection to the headphones is the owner of the brand, and its length is 1.8 meters. So we will have a good removable cable as they have most of their products.

Regarding your comfort, I will tell you that it is correct, and I say correct because it has bothered me a bit in the driver's area, since for my taste it tightens a bit. Although it is not something that is very annoying. The headband is very comfortable and the pads are also comfortable, and the ear enters without touching the driver inside.

And we come to the sound section, and this is where these headphones really stand out. Its sound is quite clear with a good presence of low and medium tones, quite balanced. And the bass are quite present with good punch but without being excessive, and also has a good extension in sound. I have to tell you that these headphones have between the drivers and the external zone a thin layer of foam, which if removed sound better and their soundstage increases. Something interesting is that they need less power to be heard at a higher volume than other headphones.

So we are in front of headphones with a good but improvable construction, with a correct comfort because if they did not press as they do they would be much more comfortable, and a very good sound for the price they have. In fact they have the same drivers as the 660. The drop is over but surely if you are attentive take out one next with the units that have not been sold.

DibusyDeabusAbout the driver, I thought the same. Mind Z, but I was corrected by Evshrug that Sennheiser confirmed here on Massdrop a some days ago that they are not the same driver. Watching rambling of no-face man got me exited too, but he should check out all facts first before dialing that amp knob all way to Strange Things. And the link is:

Tho, soundwise, signature is very similar with all them 6**. The reviews Ive seen, and I tried to see and read all of them, comparing all 6** Senns one can get that differences are some to slim, opposed to comparing them with another brand and make, where differences are, of course, drastic.
