Clear sound. I am amazed by how good this headphones sound. Music and movies sound really good but be aware that this headphones are not so much for games, positional sound doesn't work well on this. The Jubilee are very confortable, you can use this for a very long time without problem, very light.

thatonedude_32I've only tested with a few titles, but the positional sound doesn't work well on all games i have played. I'm not talking about quality, they sound great and very detailed, is the sound from a distant point or around you that feels weird. As an instance, playing Borderlands i was aware that on open maps the sound usually came from the spot it suposed to, but on inner cels, like building or tunnels, the sound came from the opposite direction you were facing. I hear it from my right and the source was on my left, things like that, so i get confused of were to aim and fire.  On other games worked fine, thats why i say is not good for games because you can't be sure the audio is going to be served in the correct side. I know this headphones can be used for gaming, but in my case i didn't find them quite appropriate for that.

DaeronicusOkay I understand. That's interesting that it would come from one side and but the source would be on the other. I wonder if it does that with other headphones too or if it's because of the headphones. I'd assume that it might be the headphones, being that it felt weird to you. Anyways, I'm excited to use it while I'm playing R6:Siege, Insurgancy: Sandstorm, and possibly Outlast 2! I hope they work well with them. Anyways, thank you for the reply and have a good time with that majestical headphone!

thatonedude_32I play using them on a daily basis, and I've never experienced what Daeronicus mentions. To me it sounds a lot like an issue with the game, but who knows. Maybe I should try firing up Borderlands and see for myself. In basically everything I've tried the imaging is superb, bar one time I accidentally mixed up the rca cables on my amp and ended up reversing the entire soundstage. I'd say that unless you really need Fidelio X2 levels of soundstage width, the Hd58x's are ridiculously good for gaming exactly because of their imaging capabilities.

DaeronicusTbh that sounds like an issue of poor sound design rather than an issue caused by the headphones. I've played The Darkness 2 with them and basically had to stop because the sound design was so badly screwed up. Basically some of the ambient sound effects were deafening, including a police siren playing every few moments, only audible through the right earcup, never the left, and so loud that I had to take off my headphones because it hurt. The rest of the sounds were playing mostly as normal. In issues like this I doubt any headphones will help, at most you could probably get a pair with sufficiently poor separation and imaging to "mask" the problem caused by the developers.

thatonedude_32My guess is that is something with the game, i have tried Borderland with the HyperX Cloud II and Pioneer SEMS5TN with no issue. Now, the HyperX came with a DAC (sort of) for the 7.1 experience (wich sucks most of the time) and that dac doesn't work with all brands, especifically not with the Jubilee. But, as i mention before, the positional audio problem is something that i've experienced, mostly, with old games, so could be something with the design, i don't know for sure.

NeoTheLizardI think you are right, yesterday i tried the HD58x with skyrim, darksouls 3 and Rise of the Tomb Rider and it worked flawless on all three. This could be something related with the game sound design rather the headphones and as i mention in a previous comment, this issue happened to me only with old games. I may be wrong with my first statement. You can game with this, but some titles will sound weird. In my case i play borderland with the HyperX, the audio is less clear but awareness works well.
