akmalDoes the PC37X work for console gaming (PS4, Xbox One, etc.) or mobile? Yes, however, you will need an adapter or a separate cable. The included cable ends in two jacks (headphone & microphone) whereas most consoles/phones have one port that takes a TRRS (4 pole) AHJ/CTIA standard 3.5mm jack. If you want an adapter, something similar to this one (*1) should work. If you want something more sleek, you can get a cable that plugs straight into the headset and ends with a TRRS jack. Something similar to this one (*2) would work.

akmalYou could get the Sennheiser PCV 05 adapter, it's around 15 bucks and works great. You have to plug it into the controller though.

BeyondMaxPowerI've got an old original PC360 headset. Got it connected to the latest Astro Mixamp for PS4. You are right, this is a great combo. Don't know if this PC37X will be a huge upgrade but for the price, decided it will be worth it to see.

dugnlIt should be a SUBSTANTIAL upgrade. I owned the PC360 and loved it. That was based on the HD558, this new one is based on the much better HD598/599/600 (similar driver, improved design over those).
The PC360 lacked bass, and it is why I gave it away. 2 reviews from Head-fiers I really trust, said the bass is much improved, even over the HD598.
I have absolutely no need for these, but I'm joining the drop to try them out. That's really saying something, and is truly a testament to Sennheiser/Massdrop creating a product that I feel obligated to own. This is a stupid good price, for what I believe Will be a strong competitor to my AKG K702 65th Anniversary/ Antlion Modmic.
Head to the Mad Lust Envy headphone gaming thread for my review and comparison when I get them.
