jowosephAlmost identical with a touch more bass. They sound awesome, especially for a gaming headset.

jowosephI'm no expert but the 598s have less bass, but brighter highs and a cleaner midrange. Similar separation and both sound great to me but I'd take the 598s for extended listening. Tested on lossless audio and a high-end asus stx soundcard.
