GouldneyOh, because of the headset!
Well, you can deal with it like how other audiophiles would:
Get a melon, about the size of your head. Stretch your headset over it and leave it overnight. Repeat as needed to alleviate the clamping pressure. It'll save you the trouble of making your head the casualty to making the headset more comfy.
ludwigtheholybladeStill trying the headset with different games and music files to find its full potential. so far so good. The mic is ok, noise cancellation is sufficient for me in a quiet room with fan and occasional traffic noise. Not a pro anyway so its ok. The bendy mic boom is sterdy and slightly flexible, stays in place once its bent. the recording is too soft, needed to boost it up 20dB to be normal. The clamp is not tight anymore after a week of exercise with darth. The cable is very long and of high quality.
