Actually a really good headset. Liking mine. The microphone is amazing. The cans themselves are okay. The 598s are superior. I had a modmic and those for my gaming setup. The only drawback was the wires. For those using these with the ps4, the volume will be a little low because the controller is whack. You need an amp dac like the creative x7

plathIt's pretty much the same thing. Just get the mod mic if you don't mind wires, tangling and that magnetic latch that's a little wonky. If you want the cleaner solution with a nice mute and velour headband, dive into this drop. You may need an adapter though.

KTMDCan you tell me why 598 is more superior than pc37x? I'm in the middle of deciding to keep my pc37x or buy 598 instead

L0L0L0L0L0LYou should keep your 37x. It's a good all in one solution, especially if you game on pc. For me, the build quality of that headband is much more better than the 598s. The mic they include is great also. My main issue is that it feels like it's tuned for gaming with elevated bass. It supposedly has the same drivers as the 598/600, but it doesn't sound the same. When MD says it performs better than gaming headsets, it really does. I've used ASTRO A50s which retail for 250+ and while it has Dolby and sound processing, it just has a trash build, it's heavy and they just boost bass up the butt to make it sound good. It's muddy and boomy. Another issue on my 37x, when I turn the dial all the way up, I get static sometimes. It has pros and cons, but not enough to make you want to get a 598. If you listen to music and really want another pair of headphones, sure, but if you're gonna do that, you might as well get the 6XX on Massdrop and get a dac/amp
