My friends are saying that my voice with these sounds poor and worse than the $40 turtle beaches I had They say it sounds like I'm talking on a cell phone. Does anybody know if there is a problem or a fix to this I feel like the mic is not bad and shouldn't sound poor.

cmhazzardjust go into the windows control panel sound settings, go to the recording devices and go to the mic properties and enable the option to hear the microphone, that should tell you if its something going on with the microphone itself or if its just a setting somewhere. I highly double this microphone would sound like a cell phone call, you sure you dont have the microphone defaulted to some microphone somewhere else on the computer?
