Ok, so I've had these for a couple of weeks now and seem to have an issue with mine. When they work correctly, they are really awesome, but I seem to have a funky jack on the headphone side.
The right side speaker will sometimes not work at all, and sometimes will only output at a very low level compared to the left side. In order to correct the issue I have to spin the 2.5mm side of the cord (inside the headphone jack) until I hit the "sweet spot" and both speakers start working at the same level. I noticed this behavior on the very first use but was hoping the connection would break-in and improve with continued usage. Unfortunately it only seems to be getting worse, as the sweet spot seems to be getting smaller and smaller (making the "sweet spot" harder to find and easier to lose again).
I also bought another (shorter, single input terminal) cable, hoping it may work better, but it does the same exact thing as the stock cable. I am unsure if this is also affecting the sound being passed through the mic, but suspect it may be.
Is this a common issue with these or did I get a defective unit? Who do I contact to get this resolved? Any help or input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Update... I contacted Massdrop support via their support link and they are sending out a replacement. They responded very quickly and professionally. Thank you, Massdrop!! I will update this post again with my results once the replacement arrives.
EDIT #2: Update... I received the replacement pair yesterday and just had a chance to test them out. This set works perfectly, with no cutting in and out when rotating the plug in the headphone jack. I am VERY happy with these now, and am also looking forward to trying out my HD58x when they arrive in a few months. Thanks, Harley, and Massdrop support for resolving this issue quickly.
