I am using a PCV 05 to connect this to my 2017 Dell XPS 15 laptop, but the microphone is not being picked up. Does anyone have any advice?

TheFishmanProbably because you are using the adapter. Does the laptop have an microphone jack at all? Try just plugging in the microphone and right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right and theclick trouble shooting and go into properties and click recording then press configure and set up the microphone.
